Aggressor Final Demo Release
Overview
Behind the scenes I've been hard at work on a new update. Many things have changed and even more things have been added. A number of new aircraft have been introduced, among them are the F-5E Tiger II, F-100 Super Sabre and MiG-21 Fishbed. These fighters have a serious speed advantage over the old aircraft, but also cost a lot more. The Overkill gamemode has been completely reworked to use waves, instead of randomized spawning, which gives me more control over how the mission plays out.
A number of visual changes and optimizations have also been made, many of which I won't cover here, but there are some interesting ones I'd like to share. The damage system now pools shrapnel from airplanes, which means there are no more major lag spikes associated with large numbers of rigidbodies. Particle systems and other effects systems also get pooled and replayed, adding to performance. Another major addition is the ejection seat, which can be found on all new fighters, and the MiG-17.

This constitutes the final FREE release of the game. The next release will be a paid early access version, and is to be published 2 months from now. Some game-changing features will be added during this time, much more spectacular combat is to be expected.
